ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:

Join us for the search of northern lights in the areas around Åre. With snowshoes on our feet and in the light of headlamps, we walk into the night and pass through the snow-laden firs and experience a new dimension of the mountains. If weather permits, we make a fire, sitting on reindeer furs and make coffee under the starry sky.
We start with some basic knowledge of the natural phenomenon Aurora Borealis, and for those interested, the guide has a short tutorial on how to catch the Northern Lights on film in the best way. Then we together walk out into the night with snowshoes on our feet, searching for the magic Northern Lights. A good evening snack is served during the tour.

Yes, our guides are proficient in English and provide information and storytelling in English to cater to international guests.

We provide pickup by minibus from selected hotels in Åre. Choose your pickup location when confirming your booking.

The tour lasts approximately 2.5–3 hours, excluding transport time.
